25 years ago, Spiro Christopoulos and two friends had an idea to open a family style restaurant that would offer delicious, quality meals at great value with exceptional customer service.
With this concept in mind the three friends opened the first BARBIES Restaurant in May 1992 in Dorval, Quebec. Their menu consisted of a variety of barbecue grill dishes with a complimentary variety of seafood dishes, salads and pizzas. Through word of mouth, it was not long before the restaurant became popular with families and friends getting together for special occasions or just for a delicious meal.
After 25 years, under the leadership of Spiro Christopoulos (Co-Founder) and his two current partners, Ahmad Keramudin and Marc-Andre Dayan, BARBIES has become a TRADITION with families and friends enjoying delicious meals, generous portions, great value and exceptional customer service.
Today, BARBIES has grown to a chain of 10 restaurants with plans to expand throughout Quebec.
